Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and innovative CAD Design Engineer to join our engineering team. As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating precise 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and blueprints based on engineering specifications. You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to translate concepts into detailed, manufacturable designs and ensure that the designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings, and schematics based on engineering specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA,UG NX etc.).
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and design goals.
  • Review and update existing designs, ensuring accuracy and optimization for production processes.
  • Conduct design analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards, tolerances, and material specifications.
  • Provide support in the prototyping and testing phases by preparing drawings and design modifications.
  • Assist in the selection of materials, components, and other design elements based on functional, cost, and manufacturing considerations.
  • Create design documentation, including assembly drawings, part lists, and technical specifications.
  • Support the resolution of design issues during the manufacturing process by liaising with the production and testing teams.
  • Maintain version control and documentation of design changes for reference and review.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a CAD design role or relevant internships/projects.
Skills & Expertise :
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or other 3D modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, drafting, and technical drawing standards.
  • Basic Knowledge on GD & T
